Fluorocarbon-Based Ionomers with Single Acid and Multiacid Side Chains at Nanothin Interfaces
Unraveling ion conduction limitations in nanothin ionomer films is crucial for designing efficient ionomer–catalyst interfaces and improving redox efficiency in electrochemical devices.

We present fluorocarbon-free block copolymer brushes as potential systems for dual-action, i.e., soil-repellent and soil-releasing textile finishes. Polymer brushes were prepared by employing specifically engineered triblock copolymers consisting of a ...

Fluorocarbon associative polymers
Current Opinion in Colloid and Interface Science, 2003Fluorocarbon associative polymers modified along the backbone or at the extremities by hydrophobic groups are reviewed with respect to their association and rheological properties in aqueous solutions. Above a threshold concentration corresponding to the formation of a reversible network structure, the solutions behave as physical gels. In this review,

Liquid-crystalline fluorocarbon-hydrocarbon microblock polymers
Macromolecules, 1993A series of novel segmented main chain polymers has been synthesized. The segments are regularly alternating and are composed of repeating units where m,n = 6,6; 6,8; 6,10; and 4,10. The rigid fluorocarbon segment acts as a mesogenic agent and the polymers exhibit liquid crystalline behavior.
