A smart power‐generating coating is developed to harvest energy from both ambient humidity and impacting liquid droplets. The integrated system delivers sustained open‐circuit voltages of 0.85 V from moisture and up to 36 V from droplets. Its scalable coating architecture enables a continuous power supply for low‐power electronic devices.

Seedless electroplating on patterned silicon [PDF]
Nickel thin films have been electrodeposited without the use of an additional\ud seed layer, on highly doped silicon wafers. These substrates conduct\ud sufficiently well to allow deposition using a peripherical electrical contact on\ud the wafer.

Development of a special purpose spacecraft interior coating. Phase 2 [PDF]
Numerous acrylic and epoxy modifiers for the fluorocarbon latex resin base were investigated. Optimum coatings were developed by modifying the fluorocarbon latex with an epoxy acrylic resin system.

Stabilization of Fluorocarbon Emulsion by Fluorinated Nonionic Surfactants
The stabilities of 20% fluorocarbon (FC) /water emulsions containing 5% fluorinated nonionic surfactants were determined by measuring the variation of droplet diameter distribution with time (up to 10 months). For comparison of less effective emulsifiers, the rate of phase separation was also used. O/W emulsions containing HCF2 (CF2) 3CH2O (C2H4O) 9.7H

Enhancement of perfluorooctanoate and perfluorooctanesulfonate activity at acoustic cavitation bubble interfaces [PDF]
Acoustic cavitation driven by ultrasonic irradiation decomposes and mineralizes the recalcitrant perfluorinated surfactants perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoate (PFOA).
