Fluorine‐18 Fluorodeoxyglucose‐Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography for Detection of Lymph Node Metastasis in Canine Mast Cell Tumour [PDF]
ABSTRACT Lymph node (LN) metastasis has been associated with shorter survival times in dogs with mast cell tumour (MCT), and treatment of metastatic LN with lymphadenectomy or irradiation has been demonstrated to improve outcomes. Identification of metastatic LN in dogs with MCT is therefore of both prognostic and therapeutic significance.

The hot embolus of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose
AbstractScanning oncological patients with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) for their disease staging, evaluation of treatment response, and monitoring/management has become a standard of care. The use of the radioactive fluorine in the FDG molecule helps establish cell/tissue lines high on glucose consumption and hence metabolically active ...

Measurement of neurodegeneration using a multivariate early frame amyloid PET classifier
Introduction Amyloid measurement provides important confirmation of pathology for Alzheimer's disease (AD) clinical trials. However, many amyloid positive (Am+) early‐stage subjects do not worsen clinically during a clinical trial, and a ...
