Delayed Massive Hemothorax Induced by Tunneled Dialysis Catheter Placement via the Left Internal Jugular Vein: A Case Report

open access: yesHemodialysis International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The tunneled dialysis catheter is among the most commonly used vascular accesses for patients undergoing hemodialysis. Delayed hemothorax resulting from central venous perforation induced by catheterization is a rare but serious complication. However, there are few reports.

Non‐Endocardial Radiofrequency Ablation of Premature Ventricular Complexes (NERA‐PVC): Safety, Efficacy and Outcome

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
Non‐endocardial radiofrequency ablation of PVCs is a safe and effective procedure, even with the use of high power and/or long duration RF application. Clinicians should consider this approach in case of LV summit and/or ASV PVCs, although long‐term follow‐up is still characterized by a relatively high recurrence rate.

Pentaspline Pulsed Field Ablation Versus High‐Power Short‐Duration/Very High‐Power Short‐Duration Radiofrequency Ablation in Atrial Fibrillation: A Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
PFA in AF patients is associated with similar efficacy and safety profiles as compared to HPSD/vHPSD RFA, with shorter procedural but longer fluoroscopy times. Large, well‐designed RCTs are eagerly awaited to expand our findings. ABSTRACT Background Pulsed field energy has been proposed as alternative to radiofrequency energy in atrial fibrillation (AF)

Kinetics and Disappearance of QRS Transition in Patients Undergoing Left Bundle Branch Pacing – A Novel Method for Classifying Microdislodgement

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction QRS transition during the threshold test is the gold standard for confirming direct capture of the Conduction System in patients with left bundle branch pacing (LBBP). Still, we have limited data on the kinetics of QRS transition over time.
