Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Nonlinear Response Analysis of an Airfoil Using Multistep Differential Transform Method

open access: yesIEEE Access
The analysis of limit cycle oscillations (LCOs) and flutter behavior in hypersonic aeroelastic systems presents significant challenges owing to their strong nonlinearities. This study demonstrates the applicability of the Multistep Differential Transform

A Quick Assessment and Optimization Method for a Flutter Aerodynamic Measure of a Typical Flat Box Girder

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2020
Flutter is one of the most serious wind-induced vibration phenomena for long-span bridges and may cause the collapse of a bridge (e.g., the Old Tacoma Bridge, 1940).

Photochemical Fuel Carrier Molecules for Robotic Embodied Energy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We designed a novel fuel carrier photoresponsive molecule for on‐demand energy storage and release. Carrier molecules undergo bond scission under UV light to release chemical fuel and locally generate propulsive Marangoni flows. We demonstrate this photochemical embodied energy strategy in small‐scale robots and active matter systems, enabling ...

High‐Gain Ag2Te/MoS2 Hybrid Photodetectors for Short‐Wave Infrared Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A precision‐engineered short‐wave infrared image sensor based on a 0D/2D Ag2Te/MoS2 hybrid structure is demonstrated in this work. The device exploits photodoping at the nanoscale interface to achieve broadband detection from visible to infrared wavelengths with high responsivity and fast response.

AEROELASTIC FLUTTER ANALYSIS OF SUPERSONIC WING WITH MULTIPLE EXTERNAL STORES

open access: yesInternational Islamic University Malaysia Engineering Journal, 2014
: Flutter may be considered to be one of the most dangerous aeroelastic failure phenomenon. The flutter characteristic differs for each aircraft type, and depends on the wing geometry as well as its operational region of subsonic, transonic or supersonic
