Staggered flux state of electron in two-dimensional t-J model
The competition between the staggered flux state, or the d-density wave state, and the d-wave pairing state is analyzed in two-dimensional t-J model based on the U(1) slave boson mean-field theory.

Methods for Measuring Autophagy in Mice
Autophagy is a dynamic intracellular process that mediates the degradation of damaged cytoplasmic components by the lysosome. This process plays important roles in maintaining normal cellular homeostasis and energy balance.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Are There Different Populations of Flux Ropes in the Solar Wind? [PDF]
Flux ropes are twisted magnetic structures, which can be detected by in situ measurements in the solar wind. However, different properties of detected flux ropes suggest different types of flux-rope population. As such, are there different populations of

Hardware/Software Co-Design Optimization for Training Recurrent Neural Networks at the Edge
Edge devices execute pre-trained Artificial Intelligence (AI) models optimized on large Graphical Processing Units (GPUs); however, they frequently require fine-tuning when deployed in the real world.

Magnetic Flux Loss and Flux Transport in a Decaying Active Region [PDF]
We estimate the temporal change of magnetic flux perpendicular to the solar surface in a decaying active region by using a time series of the spatial distribution of vector magnetic fields in the photosphere.

ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Deep-reinforcement-learning-based water diversion strategy
Water diversion is a common strategy to enhance water quality in eutrophic lakes by increasing available water resources and accelerating nutrient circulation. Its effectiveness depends on changes in the source water and lake conditions.
