Using DZmix and DZstats models, we quantified the contributions of potential sources of the Lanzhou basin. Our findings indicate that the Cenozoic cooling and denudation signals primarily originated from Qilian and West Qinling, which were the main sediment sources.

Nové litostratigrafické jednotky magurského príkrovu na Orave (Vonkajšie Západné Karpaty) [PDF]
The defiition of two new lithostratigraphic units was one of the results of geological research of the Biela Orava region. The Oravské Veselé Mb. was defied as a new lithostratigraphic unit in the southern part of the Bystrica Unit, where an increased ...

The Contribution of Oil Signs to the Petroleum Prospect in the Erindi Region, Albania
Many wells have been drilled in Albania to search oil traps in the carbonate reservoirs of the Ionian area. One of them is the Nokova-1 well, drilled in the overflow front of the Berati anticline belt.

Provenance Reassessment of Eocene Turbidites, New Caledonia: Inferences for Obduction Models
Abstract Provenance of pre‐obduction Eocene turbidites from New Caledonia is used to better constrain their geodynamic context and inform debate on subduction polarity. Chemical compositions of detrital clinopyroxenes in arenites are compared against potential sources.

Tectonic evolution and high-pressure rock exhumation in the Qiangtang terrane, central Tibet [PDF]
Conflicting interpretations of the > 500 km long, east–west-trending Qiangtang metamorphic belt have led to very different and contradicting models for the Permo–Triassic tectonic evolution of central Tibet.

Subparallel thrust and normal faulting in Albania and the roles of gravitational potential energy and rheology contrasts in mountain belts [PDF]
The active tectonics of Albania and surrounding regions, on the eastern margin of the Adriatic Sea, is characterized by subparallel thrust and normal faulting which, we suggest, is likely to be related to gravitational potential energy contrasts between ...

Restoring the Missing Late Cretaceous Arc of Iran
Abstract Persistent arc magmatism archives fluid transport and mantle partial melting in subduction zones. However, arc magmatism often exhibits different magmatic records along the strike, as seen in the Tethyan orogenic belt. During Neo‐Tethys subduction under Iran, there was pulsed arc magmatism with Middle Jurassic and Eocene magmatic flare‐ups ...

Remarks on the type locality and current status of the foraminiferal species Rzehakina epigona (Rzehak, 1895) [PDF]
A likely topotype locality is proposed for Rzehakina epigona. As the type specimen of Silicina epigona Rzehak, 1895 is assumed to be lost, we undertook a search for new material in the type area, Zdounky village in Moravia. A single locality provided a
