Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) includes data collection, state detection, health and prognostic assessment, advisory generation. A significant gap between theory and practice in PHM implementation remains. A systematic literature review on Decision Support Systems for the PHM implementation is performed.

Assessment of hazard kiln cement factory with Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Background and aims : Technique of Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis, FMECA, is a method for identifying and analyzing all potential failure modes of a system. This technique is used to prevent failures and to reduce their effects on the ...

Possibilities of realization of the failure analysis method for machines
In this paper, on the basis of the known methods of failure analysis developed primarily for electronic devices FMEA and FMECA, the possibility of their application on a complex machine conditioned the development of an 'adjusted' method of the working ...

The impact of high‐voltage circuit breaker condition on power system reliability indices
This article proposes a framework that can quantify the probability and frequency of fault types affected by the physical condition of a high‐voltage circuit breaker. The system‐level effects are then evaluated using approximate methods for power system reliability evaluation.

A New Agreement Coefficients-Based Approach to Compare Improved FMECA Methods
Commonly, the efficacy of new FMECA methods is conducted through qualitative comparisons between rankings; for a small number of failure modes, this approach is suitable but can become unpractical or lead to misleading results for more extensive problems.

Abstract To help operators perform their diagnosis tasks more efficiently, the authors put forward a novel methodology introducing a new type of model, dedicated to operations, co‐created in parallel with the design models, in the preliminary stages of system development, using the language semantics of behavior trees.
