FML-Based Recommender System for Restaurants

2013 Conference on Technologies and Applications of Artificial Intelligence, 2013
Due to the increasing number of obese people, this paper presents a Fuzzy Markup Language (FML)-based recommender system for restaurants to infer the recommended level of a restaurant by giving the estimated calories in food, the distance to the restaurant, and the price of the served food.

Characterisation of the elastic and damping properties of traditional FML and FML based on a self-reinforced polypropylene

Composite Structures, 2015
Abstract In this work, the characterisation of the elastic and damping properties of a traditional Fibre Metal Laminate (FML) and an FML based on a self-reinforced polypropylene (SRPP) was carried out. Both laminates were characterised in the frequency domain by means of a forced vibration test with a resonance technique where the Young’s complex ...

Research on Mechanical Properties of FML

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
According to the finite element method, this article has established the FML’s finite element model. By comparing to the test data and studying of the tensile behavior of FML, it has verified valid of the model. When the aluminum layer yields under the tensile load, the composite layer has the most tensile load.

FML-based Japanese diet assessment system

2013 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2013
This paper presents a Fuzzy Markup Language (FML)-based Japanese diet assessment system and applies it to Japanese diet. Food Exchange List (FEL), published by Japan Diabetes Society, is adopted as a standard to assess one person's diet healthy level to help him/her eat a wide variety of foods and drinks to balance the eaten food items and physical ...

Cyber Social FML – Computing II. Relations & Metrics

2021 IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), 2021
A universal xor-metric of the digital cyberspace convolution is forming, which makes it possible to measure any cyber social processes and phenomena, as well as to determine the degree of their difference for the recognition and elimination of social collisions L based on the equation F ⊕ T ⊕ L = 0. The model of Digital Twin Computing is considered; it

Applying FML and Fuzzy Ontologies to malware behavioural analysis

2011 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2011), 2011
Antimalware applications represent one of the most important research topic in the area of information security threat. Indeed, most computer network issues have malwares as their underlying cause. As a consequence, enhanced systems for analyzing the behavior of malwares are needed in order to try to predict their malicious actions and minimize ...

FML-Based Ontological Agent for Healthcare Application with Diabetes

2009 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Joint Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology, 2009
It is well-known that classical ontologies are not sufficient to deal with imprecise and vague knowledge. On the other hand, fuzzy ontologies can effectively solve data and knowledge with uncertainty, most importantly, if they are integrated with innovative methods for developing agents’ intelligence as the Fuzzy Markup Language (FML).

Towards application of FML in suspicion of non-common diseases

2011 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2011), 2011
In this paper we present the preliminary results of application of Fuzzy Markup Language (FML) to suspect a non-common disease. Under non-common diseases we understand rare diseases. From the broad point of view this problem belongs to the computer-assisted decision support in medical diagnostics and can be supported by fuzzy logic controllers.

Fatigue resistance and residual strength of riveted joints in FML

Fatigue & Fracture of Engineering Materials & Structures, 2009
ABSTRACTStatic and fatigue tests have been carried out on 190‐mm‐wide fibre metal laminate (FML) riveted lap joints. The specimens were made with a Glare 3‐3/2‐0.3 material, i.e. a laminate composed of three layers of 2024‐T3 aluminium alloy, thickness 0.3 mm and two double layers (0/90) of pre‐preg FM‐94‐27%‐S2 glass fibre.
