ABSTRACT Purpose In multi‐shot EPI, shot‐dependent phase fluctuations can introduce ghost artifacts, undermining advantages for enhancing resolution or reducing distortion, particularly in diffusion scans. Here, a novel self‐navigation strategy based on shift‐invariant kernel extraction is proposed, enabling robust estimation of phase inconsistencies ...

ABSTRACT Brain age is an emerging concept that reflects complex, time‐dependent changes in brain structure, identifying departures from expected neurodevelopmental patterns. In the developing brain, accurate MRI‐based age estimation is a quantitative biomarker for detecting atypical neurodevelopment, facilitating early diagnosis, guiding clinical ...

Transceiver 16‐Channel Coaxial‐End Dipole Array for Combined Head and C‐Spine MRI at 9.4 T
A double‐row transceiver array consisting of 16 folded‐end coaxial‐end dipoles was designed. Curved dipole elements were aligned on a tight‐fitting, ergonomically shaped holder optimized for subject comfort. Transmit efficiency, B1+ field homogeneity, and SAR were numerically evaluated using EM‐simulations and optimized with respect to several ...

Complementarity of BOLD and ADC‐fMRI in Mapping Brain Visual Processing in the Rat
BOLD‐fMRI and ADC‐fMRI were acquired at 9.4 and 14 T during visual stimulation with variable frequency. BOLD‐fMRI showed robust positive/negative responses but depended on regional vascularization patterns. ADC‐fMRI was able to detect neural activity independently from vascular effects at 9.4 T.
