Tailocin‐Mediated Interactions Among Soft Rot Pectobacteriaceae
ABSTRACT Bacteria carry phage‐derived elements within their genomes, some of which can produce phage‐like particles (tailocins) used as weapons to kill kin strains in response to environmental conditions. This study investigates the production and activity of tailocins by plant‐pathogenic bacteria: Pectobacterium, Dickeya, and Musicola genera, which ...

China's meat sector growth and U.S. grain and oilseed exports
Abstract Given China's role as a dominant grain and oilseeds importer, any changes in Chinese policy can significantly affect exporting countries. We estimate how the domestic supply and demand factors determine China's grain and oilseed imports and project the impact on U.S. exports to China with changes in Chinese policies.

Intratumoral Fusobacterium nucleatum exhibits significant spatial heterogeneity within breast cancer tissues. F. nucleatum colonization alters the expression of key proteins involved in tumour progression and migration. The MAPK signalling pathway is a critical mediator of F. nucleatum‐induced breast cancer cell proliferation and migration.

Land Use Planning for Land Degradation Neutrality: Reflections and Critical Challenges
ABSTRACT Positing that land use planning (LUP) is both a technical and a political endeavor that should predominantly promote the preservation of the land‐based natural capital, the present study aspires to first, constructively problematize the Scientific Conceptual Framework for Land Degradation Neutrality (SCF‐LDN) approach and second, reveal the ...
