Luminescent metal–organic framework@nanoparticle composites show dual emission of both components EuBDC and zirconyl‐containing nanoparticles, being reversible, excitation energy‐dependent and solvatochromic switches. The chromaticity changes are fast, as no chemical transformation is involved and required as source of the dual emission.

Due to the depletion of fossil fuels, enhancing wind turbine efficiency is crucial. Utilizing airfoils with high lift‐to‐drag ratios significantly improves power generation by optimizing aerodynamic parameters. Furthermore, entropy generation analysis serves as an effective method for design optimization by minimizing energy losses and exergy ...

Abstract Efforts to use transcriptomics for toxicity testing have classically relied on the assumption that chemicals consistently produce characteristic transcriptomic signatures that are reflective of their mechanism of action. However, the degree to which transcriptomic responses are conserved across different test methodologies has seldom been ...

Magneto‐responsive fibers and fabrics for soft systems
Abstract The combination of functional materials in fiber form has led to a surge in the integration of functional fibers and fabrics into soft systems that span sensing, communication, and actuation domains. A key subset is magnetic fibers and fabrics.

Viability of Tumor Cells in Bone Dust: Implications for Oncologic Skull Base Surgery
ABSTRACT Background Head and neck tumors with skull base involvement may require drilling of tumor infiltrated bone. We hypothesize that bone dust generated during this process contains viable tumor cells that may seed the surgical field. Methods Tumors with gross bone invasion were drilled, and dust was collected for H&E, cell viability analysis, and ...
