Boron Foliar Application in Nutrition and Yield of Beet and Tomato [PDF]
The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of the application of boron (B) by foliar spraying for the yield of beet (Beta vulgaris L.) and tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) crops. An experiment for each crop was done in a greenhouse at the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Jaboticabal campus, in Brazil.

ABSTRACT Climate change is making water availability more uncertain, with growing consequences for the productivity and long‐term sustainability of tropical and subtropical fruit orchards. Mangifera indica L. and Persea americana Mill. both require large amounts of water to sustain growth and productivity.

Effects of Nitrogen Fertilization on Monoterpenes of Jack Pine Seedlings and Weight Gain of Jack Pine Budworm (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) [PDF]
Nine-month old jack pine (Pinus banksiana) seedlings were grown in a greenhouse under four nitrogen fertilization regimes. Levels of total nitrogen and five monoterpenes in new foliage were measured. Fertilization resulted in four significantly different

Borax Promotes Fertility of Brassica napus Better Than Other Boron Species at Suboptimal Supply
ABSTRACT Background Continuous and sufficient boron (B) supply is essential for achieving maximum yield in Brassica napus. Increasing incidences of environmental water limitation are linked to reduced plant B availability and increased B deficiencies.

Response of wheat cultivars to foliar potassium fertilization under irrigated saline environment [PDF]
A field experiment with split-split plot design (SSPD) was conducted to study the response of two winter wheat (Triticumaestivum L.) cultivars (viz. salt tolerant cultivar KRL-1-4 and salt non-tolerant cultivar HD-2894) under saline irrigation regimes ...

ABSTRACT Background Soybean, a nutritionally important protein‐ and oil‐rich legume, is highly sensitive to iron (Fe) deficiency under alkaline conditions, where reduced Fe availability limits growth, yield, and seed quality. Effective biofortification therefore requires increasing seed Fe while reducing phytate that restricts Fe bioavailability.
