Soybean Insect Control with Foliar Applications, 1982
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1984Abstract Forrest variety soybean was planted 18 June at the West Tenn. Exp. Stn., Jackson, Tenn. Four-row plots 40 ft long were replicated four times in a randomized complete block design, pretreatment samples (two-25 sweep samples per replicate) were taken 27 Aug. Insecticides were applied immediately with a four-row boom at the rate of

Evaluation of Adhesives for Foliar Application of Chemicals
Forest Science, 1968Abstract Thirty-nine commercial adhesives were evaluated for their ability to form weather-resistant films for retaining chemical repellents on coniferous trees. Fifteen were rejected because of poor film retention in accelerated weathering tests or because they could not be formulated as 10-percent solids in water.

Biocontrol of foliar pathogens: mechanisms and application.
Communications in agricultural and applied biological sciences, 2004Biocontrol offers attractive alternatives or supplements to the use of conventional methods for plant disease management. Vast experience has been gained in the biocontrol of plant diseases. Prevention of infection by biocontrol agents or suppression of disease is based on various modes of action.
