Band Offsets from Angle‐Resolved Valence Band Photoemission Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Soft X‐ray Angle‐Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (SX‐ARPES) is employed to quantify conduction band offsets at semiconductor surfaces and interfaces by fitting valence band photoemission spectra. This method surpasses traditional techniques, providing accurate results for InAs and InSb systems.

The graph of a foliation [PDF]

open access: possibleAnnals of Global Analysis and Geometry, 1983
Let M be a riemannian manifold with a riemannian foliation F. Among other things we construct a special metric on the graph of the foliation,\(\mathfrak{G}(F)\), (which is complete, when M is complete), and use the relations of Gray [1] and O'Neill [7] and the elementary structural properties of\(\mathfrak{G}(F)\), to find a necessary and sufficient ...

Critical foliations

Optics Letters, 2001
Critical foliations are special two-dimensional slices (planes of observation) of a three-dimensional optical field in which an infinitesimally small change in the angle of observation produces major qualitative differences in the observed field structure.

Fundamentals on Foliations

1981
In this chapter the central subject of this book is presented in full generality. Before we give (in 2.1) the definition we study an intermediate class of objects, the so-called foliated bundles. This is for three reasons: Foliated bundles are fibre bundles with a foliation transverse to the fibres (or with a flat connection, in the language of ...
