Ovarian stimulation by promoting basal follicular growth

open access: yesReproductive Biology and Endocrinology
Background Most methods of ovarian stimulation rely on gonadotropin modulation. However, abnormal anti-Müllerian hormone concentrations are frequent in infertility, suggesting that defects in the gonadotropin-independent period of folliculogenesis ...

At Home Detection of Ovarian Health Biomarker in Menstruation Blood

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A lateral flow assay enables the detection of anti‐Müllerian hormone directly in unprocessed menstrual blood using silica‐gold nanoshells and smartphone‐assisted machine learning analysis. The platform supports decentralized, user‐operated testing in wearable and dipstick formats, highlighting the potential of menstrual blood as a non‐invasive matrix ...

Zinc Exposure Causes Disulfidptosis to Induce Miscarriage by Up‐Regulating GATA1/METTL1/SLC7A11 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zn exposure up‐regulates GATA1, promoting GATA1‐mediated METTL1 and SLC7A11 transcription. It also enhances METTL1‐mediated m7G modification on SLC7A11 mRNA, increasing SLC7A11 mRNA stability. Ultimately, Zn exposure up‐regulates SLC7A11 at both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels, causing disulfidptosis. Knockdown of murine Slc7a11, Gata1,

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

The Roles of Luteinizing Hormone, Follicle-Stimulating Hormone and Testosterone in Spermatogenesis and Folliculogenesis Revisited [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Spermatogenesis and folliculogenesis involve cell–cell interactions and gene expression orchestrated by luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

An investigation of the effects on follicular-embryonal development and pregnancy outcomes of serum and follicular fluid ischemia-modified albumin in cases of unexplained infertility receiving in vitro fertilization treatment

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2020
Objective: To show the effect of the oxidative stress index (OSI) of serum and follicular fluid and ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) levels on embryonic development and pregnancy in cases of unexplained infertility applied with in-vitro fertilization (IVF)

Effect of dietary Flammulina velutipes (Curt.: Fr.) stem waste on ovarian follicles development in laying hens

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science, 2023
Flammulina velutipes is one of the most consumed mushrooms mainly produced in China but their stem base, which is a waste resource in production usually not used, but has revealed reducing cholesterol effects and preventing fatty liver.

Dose‐Dependent Reprogramming of Chromatin Accessibility by SOX4 Drives the Transcriptional Response to Iron Overload

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Leptin concentrations in the follicular phase of spontaneous cycles and cycles superovulated with follicle stimulating hormone

open access: yes, 1998
It has been reported that oestradiol may play a role in the production of leptin from adipocytes, To investigate this relationship further, nine normally ovulating women were studied during two menstrual cycles, i.e.
