SYNTHESIS OF Bi-Zn-Al-B-Si-O NANO-GLASS FOR MULTILAYER CHIP INDUCTORS

Modern Physics Letters B, 2009
The ferrite added with Bi - Zn - Al - B - Si - O nano-glass was sintered at 840-900°C, 2 h and the initial permeability, quality factor, density and saturation magnetization of the samples were measured. The initial permeability of the nano-glass added sample was about 62.6 at 0.1 wt%, and showed a sharp increase from 0.4 to 0.5 wt%.

MAGNETOPHONON RESONANCE IN MnxCdyHg1-x-yTe

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2007
The aim of this work is to analyze the band-structure parameters of Mn x Cd y Hg 1- x - y Te (MMCT) alloys by means of Magnetophonon Resonance (MPR) and to compare that obtained for Zn x Cd y Hg 1- x - y Te (ZMCT). MPR was observed for two samples of Mn x Cd y Hg 1- x - y Te (MMCT) (I- x =0.095 and y =0.09, II-0.04 and y =0.19).

THE EFFECT OF Y ON THE OXIDATION OF Mg-Zn-Zr ALLOYS

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2009
The effects of Y addition up to 5.13% (in weight) to Mg - Zn - Zr alloys on oxidation behaviors under atmospheric ambient conditions were investigated in this study. Samples were heated in the ambient atmosphere at 400°C, with samples cooled to room temperature for mass measurement after some period time of cumulative exposure to obtain kinetic curves.

INDUCED DEFECTS IN a-Si:H/a-SiNx:H MULTILAYERS BY USE OF A POSITRON ANNIHILATION TECHNIQUE

Modern Physics Letters B, 1996
In a - Si : H / a - SiN x: H multilayers, in addition to induced distortions, there are a large number of induced defects in the interface regions between a-Si:H and a - SiN x: H due to structural mismatch. In this experiment, we measured a series of a - Si : H / a - SiN x: H (x= 0.5) multilayers by the positron annihilation technique (PAT) and, on ...

THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF MC (M = V, Nb, Ta): FIRST-PRINCIPLES CALCULATIONS

Modern Physics Letters B, 2013
Through the quasi-harmonic Debye model, the pressure and temperature dependences of linear expansion coefficient, bulk modulus, Debye temperature and heat capacity have been investigated. The calculated thermodynamic properties were compared with experimental data and satisfactory agreement is reached.

Synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of Ni, Zn, Pd and Pt tetra(pentafluorophenyl)porpholactone with comparisons to Mg, Zn, Y, Pd and Pt metal complexes of tetra(pentafluorophenyl)porphine

Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines, 2002
Ni , Zn , Pd and Pt tetra(pentafluorophenyl)porpholactone (TFPL) were synthesized and identified by their optical and mass spectra. The lactone ring was produced from the parent free-base porphyrin using silver nitrate and oxalic acid with a yield of 73%, and the metals were inserted by standard procedures from metal salts.

CONTRIBUTION OF n-TYPE AMORPHOUS CARBON ON THE FABRICATION OF n-C:P/p-Si SOLAR CELLS

Surface Review and Letters, 2004
The phosphorus doped n -type ( n - C : P ) carbon films and fabrication of n - C : P / p - Si heterojunction solid-state solar cells by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique at room temperature using graphite target have been studied. The P atoms incorporated in the films were determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to be in the range ...

ELASTIC MODULI FOR THREE SUPERCONDUCTING PHASES OF Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O

Modern Physics Letters B, 1992
We have measured the absolute values of longitudinal and transversal sound velocities in ceramic samples of Bi 2 Sr 2 Ca n-1 Cu n O 2n+4 (n=1, 2,3). We have compared various methods of calculation of "true" elastic moduli of matrix material. We used best of them to find the elastic moduli, sound velocities and Debye temperatures of the material.

t+t clustering in He-isotopes

Modern Physics Letters A, 2006
t+t clustering in He isotopes is investigated by using two theoretical approaches. A role of the t+t cluster component in the ground state is examined with AMD triple-S, allowing the wider configuration space containing simultaneously the "t+t+valence neutrons" structure and "4 He +valence neutrons" structure. We understand the importance of the t + t
