Foot Breadth in Children—Its Relationship to Limb Dominance and Age
Foot & Ankle, 1988A total of 996 school pupils between the ages of 5 and 12 yr were studied for the relationship between foot breadth and limb dominance. The test of significance and chi-square analysis were used in the calculation. Limb dominance is divided into upper limb dominance (handedness) and lower limb dominance (footedness). No asymetry or difference was found

Variations in foot breadth: Effect on aspects of postural control during one-leg stance
Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, 1997To test the hypothesis that changing body weight toward the narrower rearfoot or the wider forefoot causes a decrease or increase in the amount of center of pressure (CoP) displacement per unit of foot tilt (EQ), and to examine the effect on postural control.Experimental, within-subject design with one controlled variable.A biomechanics laboratory of a

Vaccine, 2014
Inactivated whole virus foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccines are used worldwide for protection against FMD, but not all vaccines induce protection against all genetic variants of the same FMD virus serotype. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the "breadth" of the antibody response against different strains of the same FMD virus serotype ...

Anthropologischer Anzeiger, 1997
In this study the relationship between foot length, foot breadth, ball girth or foot circumference, height and weight of Turkish students aged between 17 and 25 was examined. It was noted that in both sexes the correlation between foot length and height was more significant than the correlation between foot length and weight.

"One Foot In, One Foot Out:Individuals’ External Search Breadth and Innovation Outcomes"
Academy of Management Proceedings, 2014The ‘variance hypothesis’ predicts that external search breadth will lead to innovation outcomes, but time for search is fixed and cultivating breadth takes time. How does individuals’ external search breadth affect innovation outcomes? We match survey data with complete patent records, to examine the search behaviors of elite experts at one of the ...
