Objective: Hallux Valgus is one of the most foot deformities which increase plantar pressure beneath big toe and first metatarsal. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of foot orthosis on plantar pressure distribution in subjects with mild and ...

This work reveals the UV‐curing‐induced monomer‐rich domain, oligomer‐rich domain, and entangled oligomer domain. The cured submicron films in stressed state induce interlayer nano‐wrinkle structures during the deposition of the second layer. Stress‐free cured films in relaxed state form non‐diffusive, diffusive and semi‐diffusive interlayer ...

Atomically dispersed Ni–S4 sites on CdS nanorods induce interfacial charge polarization, directing photogenerated electrons to H2 evolution and holes to selective ester‐bond cleavage of poly(lactic acid). Without sacrificial reagents, this charge‐coupled system produces lactate while suppressing overoxidation, achieving an H2 evolution rate of 41.74 ...

Chiral dopants induce supramolecular chirality in an achiral polymer (PFO), generating spin‐polarized carriers via the chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) and suggesting a possible contribution of Spin‐polarized carrier transport to circularly polarized electroluminescence (CPEL).

Distribution of in-shoe dynamic plantar foot pressures in professional football players
At two football venues, 35 professional football players, aged 17 to 30, took part in a study. The aim was to compare in-shoe dynamic plantar foot pressures between football boots and trainers by investigating relationships between area, force and ...

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

Adaptive Exoskeleton Device for Stress Reduction in the Ankle Joint Orthosis
Treating ankle fractures in athletes, commonly resulting from training injuries, remains a significant challenge. Current approaches to managing both non-surgical and postoperative foot and ankle disorders have focused on integrating sensory systems into

Defect‐free transfer principles enable scalable fabrication of 15 µm‐thin garnet‐based hybrid solid electrolytes. Hansen solubility parameters correlate interfacial compatibility with coating, transfer, and impregnation behavior, guiding rational selection of slurry/substrate, binder/substrate, and binder/polymer electrolyte combinations.
