The effects of varying diameter on coaxial propellers for the propulsion of multirotor systems
Rotorcraft are in use today as both unmanned and manned aerial vehicles, and are limited in performance by the size constraints on their propellers. In order to expand the nature and scope of missions that unmanned aerial vehicles can be used for, said ...

Blast tube design: How shape and size influence the resultant shock wave
Shock tubes and tunnels are often used in research settings as a way of producing high pressure shock waves in a smaller footprint or without the use of explosives. However, there is no standard geometric design across laboratories.

Femtosecond‐Laser Mould Texturing Enables Tunable Biointerfaces in COC Microfluidics
Femtosecond‐laser texturing of injection‐mould inserts enables scalable engineering of biointerfaces in cyclic olefin copolymer microfluidics. Replicated micro‐ and nano‐topographies modulate surface roughness and wettability, leading to texture‐dependent protein adsorption and cell adhesion without chemical post‐processing.

Effect of the Spudcan’s Footprints on Nearby Jacket’s Mudmat in Clayey Soil-Case Study
When a jack-up installed at a clay location and then leaves; it can create several meter deep footprints. In case of soft clay, the spudcan may have actually penetrated much deeper than the observed footprints.
