Forces analysis for micro-manipulation

2005 International Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Robotics and Automation, 2005
The aim of this article is to give an experimental analysis of the physical phenomena at a microscopic scale. In particular, this article presents experimental measurements based on an AFM system. These experiments show the influence of the contact forces and distance forces especially for micromanipulation applications.

Analysis of the Forced Expiratory Maneuver

Chest, 1973
In asthma, acetylcysteine is tremendously irritating. Mr. Silvers: I think saline washout may work just as well. Dr. Nadel: What did these patients die of and what were their physiologic abnormalities in life? Could the agonal changes in these patients have affected the results?

Forcing and reductibilities. II. Forcing in fragments of analysis

Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1983
In Forcing and reducibilities, I [20] we reviewed various forcing techniques in the context of arithmetic. This second part deals with the same topics in the context of analysis. The numbering of sections is the continuation of the numbering of the first part.

Analysis and experimental validation of force bandwidth for force control

IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2003, 2004
Controlling robots in contact with environment is the important problem in industry applications. In the conventional force control, great many researches have paid attention to develop novel force control systems and implemented force sensors to detect external force. Narrow bandwidth of force sensor has a big influence on the force control system. In

Analysis of hystereses in force length and force calcium relations

American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology, 2005
Analysis of the hystereses in the force-length relationship at constant Ca2+concentration and in the force-calcium relationship at constant sarcomere length (SL) provides insight into the mechanisms that control cross-bridge (XB) recruitment. The hystereses are related here to two mechanisms that regulate the number of strong XBs: the cooperativity ...

Force modulation with a scanning force microscope: an analysis

Tribology Letters, 1997
A magnetic force modulation microscope (FMM) has been employed to measure the dynamic behavior of a contact between a scanning force microscope (SFM) tip and a surface. Our experimental results show the inefficiency of the classical models (two Kelvin-Voigt elements in parallel).

Force Analysis of Qi Chaotic System

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2016
The Qi chaotic system is transformed into Kolmogorov type of system. The vector field of the Qi chaotic system is decomposed into four types of torques: inertial torque, internal torque, dissipation and external torque. Angular momentum representing the physical analogue of the state variables of the chaotic system is identified.

A Keynesian Analysis of Forced Saving

International Economic Review, 1963
.. if the community has great need of a large sum of money for a war or for the ransom of its prince from captivity... it might raise it by altering the money, and this would not be contrary to nature or usurious... in this arrangement about all the conditions desirable for such a levy seem to be combined; it brings in a large revenue in a short time ...

Nonlinear Force Analysis of Atomic Force Microscopy

Volume 1: 23rd Biennial Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise, Parts A and B, 2011
The objective of this work is to highlight and discuss some critical conditions in which the imprecision of atomic force microscopy (AFM) system will be intensified. To precisely address these issues, we developed a complete close form solution for a non-linear motion of AFM system subjected to non-linear contact and van der Waals forces.

Terrain Analysis for Armed Forces

2014
The main activities of armed forces take place in the terrain. Knowledge of terrain impact on such activities is very substantial for their achievement. Terrain impact on chosen activities can be described using mathematical models and these can be applied in GIS.
