An Integrated Low-Cost Underwater Navigation Solution for Divers Employing an INS Composed of Low-Cost Sensors Using the Robust Kalman Filter and Sensor Fusion [PDF]
Divers’ navigation heavily depends on their experience and physical condition, and accidents caused by failure to return occur every year. To address this issue, we developed a navigation system for divers.

Motion-Induced Errors in Buoy-Based Wind Measurements: Mechanisms, Compensation Methods, and Future Perspectives for Offshore Applications [PDF]
Accurate measurement of sea-surface winds is critical for climate science, physical oceanography, and the rapidly expanding offshore wind energy sector. Buoy-based platforms—moored meteorological buoys, drifters, and floating LiDAR systems (FLS)—provide ...

Rolling Force Prediction of Hot Rolling Based on GA‐MELM [PDF]
In the hot continuous rolling process, the main factor affecting the actual thickness of strip is the rolling force. The precision of rolling force calculation is the key to realize accurate on‐line control. However, because of the complexity and nonlinearity of the rolling process, as well as many influencing factors, the theoretical analysis of the ...

Investigation of force parameters during rolling in relief rolls
The paper presents the results of theoretical studies of the force parameters of thick-sheet blanks rolling in relief rolls. Empirical dependences were obtained to determine the average rolling pressure and force. When studying the pressure, the approach of replacing the defonnation scheme with a flat analog was used.
