An Analysis of Thickness-shear Vibrations of an Annular Plate with the Mindlin Plate Equations
The Mindlin plate equations with the consideration of thickness-shear deformation as an independent variable have been used for the analysis of vibrations of quartz crystal resonators of both rectangular and circular types.

Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.

Coupled BEM and FEM in Dynamic Analysis of Tanks Filled with a Liquid
In this paper the numerical procedure based on a coupling the finite element formulation and the boundary element method is developed for the forced vibration analysis of shells of revolution partially filled with the fluid. We obtained numerical results

From Food to Power: Hydrogel Thermoelectrics for Ingestible Electronics
We introduce a fully edible thermoelectric–electrochromic platform that harvests heat from food and converts it into a visible color change. N‐type and p‐type hydrogel thermoelectric generators connected in series power anthocyanin‐based electrochromic displays, demonstrating the feasibility of safe, biodegradable, ingestible systems for on‐food ...

Vibration of Multi-Chamber Shell Structures with Discontinuously Variable Cross-Sections
The paper presents the general integral of a set of differentia! equations describing vibrations of a multichamber prismatic shell made of a linear-elastic orthotropic material.

In technical applications it takes place the problem of vibration damping in certain regions of the structure, at the location of optical sensors for instance, at any external dynamic excitations with no mass increase and no changes in spectral portrait.

Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

Results of Millikan Library Forced Vibration Testing [PDF]
This report documents an investigation into the dynamic properties of Millikan Library under forced excitation. On July 10, 2002, we performed frequency sweeps from 1 Hz to 9.7 Hz in both the East-West (E-W) and North-South (N-S) directions using a roof ...
