Research on Design of Intelligent Background Differential Model for Training Target Monitoring

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
The detection of moving targets is to detect the change area in a sequence of images and extract the moving targets from the background image. It is the basis.

Comparative Evaluation of Background Subtraction Algorithms in Remote Scene Videos Captured by MWIR Sensors

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Background subtraction (BS) is one of the most commonly encountered tasks in video analysis and tracking systems. It distinguishes the foreground (moving objects) from the video sequences captured by static imaging sensors.

Spatiotemporal Saliency Estimation by Spectral Foreground Detection

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Multimedia, 2018
We present a novel approach for spatiotemporal saliency detection by optimizing a unified criterion of color contrast, motion contrast, appearance, and background cues. To this end, we first abstract the video by temporal superpixels. Second, we propose a novel graph structure exploiting the saliency cues to assign the edge weights.

Are Fertility Preservation Procedures Before Gonadotoxic Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Feasible and Safe in Very Young Children? A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.

Improved Early Referral in Long‐Term Survivor Care With Institutional Standardized Practice Among Childhood Leukemia Survivors#

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In 2018, the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center Leukemia Program implemented a practice standard to support the transition from treatment to survivorship that includes shared, alternating care between leukemia and survivorship clinicians and a reminder to refer survivors to the long‐term survivor clinic (LTSC) 2 years after ...

Shadow Detection Based on Regions of Light Sources for Object Extraction in Nighttime Video

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Intelligent video surveillance systems detect pre-configured surveillance events through background modeling, foreground and object extraction, object tracking, and event detection.

The Role of “Adult‐Onset” Cancer Predisposition Genes in Pediatric Cancer: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Current literature estimates that 10% of pediatric cancers are caused by pathogenic or likely pathogenic (P/LP) germline variants in cancer predisposition genes (CPGs). Variants in CPGs thought to increase cancer risk exclusively during adulthood are referred to as “adult‐onset” CPGs (aoCPGs).

One-Stage Arbitrary-Oriented Object Detection With Prediction Decoupling

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Arbitrary-oriented objects widely appear in natural scenes, remote sensing images, text images, etc., and thus arbitrary-oriented object detection has received considerable attention.

Ironic Medications: A Narrative‐Based Psycho‐Educational Intervention to Explore Patient–Provider Communication in Adolescents With Haematological Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Adolescents with haematological malignancies face significant emotional and relational challenges, often accompanied by difficulties in communicating their needs within the healthcare context. To address these issues, a narrative‐based psycho‐educational intervention based on the creation and prescription of Ironic Medications was ...

Weakly Supervised Foreground Object Detection Network Using Background Model Image

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
In visual surveillance, deep learning-based foreground object detection algorithms are superior to classical background subtraction (BGS)-based algorithms.
