Gentle Label‐Free Nonlinear Optical Imaging Relaxes Linear‐Absorption‐Mediated Triplet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The phototoxicity in nonlinear optical microscopy arises mainly from linear absorption of intrinsic biomolecules rather than nonlinear absorption. This mechanism is supported by a reproducible phototoxicity assay based on widely available chicken breast.

The State of High‐Resolution Imaging of the Human Inner Ear: A Look Into the Black Box

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐resolution imaging of the cochlea is challenged by numerous unique aspects of this organ, where sensorineural cells, crucial for hearing, are too small for conventional modalities like magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. This article reviews current imaging techniques, emerging technologies, and innovations aimed at improving ...

Dysfunctional Decidual CD4+T Cells Induce Recurrent Pregnancy Loss via Palmitoylation‐Dependent Tim‐3 Lysosomal Sorting and Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysfunctional decidual CD4+T cells induce recurrent pregnancy loss via palmitoylation‐dependent Tim‐3 lysosomal sorting and degradation. The integrated bioinformatics, proteomic, functional and model studies elucidate that Tim‐3 is palmitoylated by ZDHHC3 at Cys9. Sortilin bound to and directed palmitoylated Tim‐3 toward lysosome degradation, resulting
