Foreign body granulomas of the ear.
The Journal of otolaryngology, 1976Foreign body granulomas of the ear are seldom looked for, but probably common occurrences. They may be due to exogenous or endogenous material which became implanted in the course of trauma or treatment in the external or middle ear. They provoke inflammation which may be subclinical, clinical, or masked by concurrent infection.

[A case of foreign body granuloma].
Kyobu geka. The Japanese journal of thoracic surgery, 1994A 45-year-old man referred to our hospital complaining of dry cough. Chest X-ray and CT scan film indicated tumor shadow in the right anterior mediastinum. Although preoperative diagnosis was teratoma, the specimen extirpated by thoracotomy revealed macroscopically and microscopically foreign body granuloma originated from gauzes.

[A case of foreign-body granuloma].
No shinkei geka. Neurological surgery, 1990A 24-year-old male patient was admitted to our Ryukyu University Hospital, complaining of visual disturbance. He had had partial removal of a suprasellar region tumor in another hospital one year before the admission. Microscopical findings had shown two cell patterns of germinoma in the first operation.
