Foreign Investment, Technology Transfer and Foreign Capital Impact Function
International Economic Journal, 1989This paper analyzes the optimal capital accumulation of a small open economy by incorporating the impact of technology transfer that accompanies foriegn ivestment. Bulletin of Economic Research, 2008ABSTRACTThis paper uses stochastic frontier methodology to analyse foreign direct investment, imported capital goods and human capital as channels for increased efficiency in less‐developed countries. Empirical investigation reveals that developing countries differ with respect to the efficiency with which they use frontier technology.
