Financial globalization, governance, and the evolution of the home bias [PDF]
Standard portfolio theories of the home bias are disconnected from corporate finance theories of insider ownership. We merge the two into what we call the optimal ownership theory of the home bias. The theory has the following components.

Dual‐Strategy Design of Heterojunction‐Enhanced Piezoelectric Hydrogels for Periodontitis Treatment
This study developed a piezoelectric hydrogel integrating heterojunction enhancement and dual‐salt synergy, combining robust electrical performance with mechanical stability and bioactivity to better match the periodontal microenvironment. Under ultrasound activation, the hydrogel markedly promotes macrophage M2 polarization, thereby reducing the ...

Are private banks more efficient than public banks? Evidence from Russia [PDF]
We study whether bank efficiency is related to bank ownership in Russia. We find that foreign banks are more efficient than domestic private banks and – surprisingly – that domestic private banks are not more efficient than domestic public banks.

Multi‐Functional Adaptive Interfaces for Next‐Generation Wearable and Implantable Bioelectronics
Adaptive Biointerfaces: A comprehensive overview of next‐generation bioelectronics is presented, highlighting mechano‐adaptive and biophysiologically adaptive interfaces that enable stable, long‐term integration with living tissues. As illustrated in the image, adaptive interface strategies, including mechano‐adaptivity (e.g., injectability, shape ...

Foreign shareholding: A decomposition analysis. [PDF]
Stulz (2005) has emphasised that for home bias to decline, insiders have to reduce ownership so as to make purchase of shares by foreigners possible.

. ABSTRACT Colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) based on II–V semiconductors offer attractive optical absorption and carrier transport properties for infrared optoelectronics, yet their device‐relevant electronic behavior remains poorly understood. In particular, Cd3P2 CQDs have been constrained by limited control over nanocrystal growth and carrier polarity.
