Palmitoylation by ZDHHC18 blocks ORF3a K27‐linked ubiquitination mediated by TRIM16, thereby preventing its proteasomal degradation and strengthening viral pathogenesis. Targeting palmitoylation through a pharmacological inhibitor (2‐BP), a competitive inhibitory peptide (OPIP), or adenovirus‐mediated knockdown of ZDHHC18 expression presents a ...

Foreign influence, control, and indirect ownership: Implications for productivity spillovers
How does the presence of ‘controlled’ foreign firms affect the productivity of domestic firms in the same industry? We revisit the historical distinction between control and influence by the foreign owner and define ‘controlled’ foreign firms as those ...

Nano Carbon‐mesh with Excellent Bonding Performance via Hydro‐cage De‐shielding Strategy
A hydro‐cage de‐shielding strategy transforms cellulose‐based films into a dragonfly‐wing‐like nano carbon‐mesh (NCM) adhesive through instantaneous carbonization‐polymerization. The resulting NCM‐plywood achieves exceptional wet shear strength (1.24 MPa at 63°C), exceeding Class II plywood standards, and retains 0.73 MPa after boiling‐water cycles ...

Oligopeptides/DNA Coacervate Droplets as Macromolecular Delivery Microcarriers
Oligopeptide–DNA coacervates formed via liquid–liquid phase separation serve as programmable carriers for macromolecular cargos, entering cells through lipid raft–associated pathways and subsequently undergoing enzyme triggered intracellular disassembly driven by DNA degradation processes, thereby enabling efficient, controlled, and spatially defined ...

Foreign ownership and board cultural diversity
Using detailed hand-collected data on firm ownership and board cultural diversity from Sweden, we find that foreign ownership is positively associated with board cultural diversity. This relationship is not an artifact of foreign owners joining the board, and it is not driven by firms with substantial foreign focus.

This study reveals a conserved half‐open active pocket in Fe(II)/α‐ketoglutarate‐dependent dioxygenases through protein structuromics, distinguished by structural features comprising highly flexible loop elements. Enhanced sampling simulations‐guided mutagenesis experiments elucidated how this flexible loop regulates pocket open/closed conformations ...
