Norm Circles and the Limitations of European Union Normative Projection in Afghanistan

open access: yesJournal for the Theory of Social Behaviour, Volume 56, Issue 4, December 2026.
ABSTRACT Norm diffusion research explains the international travel of norms in semantic terms, through resonance, framing, grafting and localisation.
