An Investigation Into the Yields of 3,4‐Methylenedioxyphenyl‐2‐propanone (MDP2P) From Glycidate Pre‐Precursors

Hydrolysis of the glycidate pre‐precursors MMDMG and EMDMG was evaluated for MDP2P production. Acid hydrolysis of MMDMG (HCl, 100°C, 18 h) yielded the highest MDP2P recovery (79%), whereas base hydrolysis produced only slightly lower yields (73%), demonstrating both pathways are effective routes to this key MDMA precursor.

Population Pharmacokinetics and Detection Times of Betamethasone After Intravenous, Intramuscular, and Intranasal Jet Administration of Betamethasone Sodium Phosphate in Horses

Drug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.
Betamethasone concentrations in 20 horses from Japan and Germany following IV, IM, and INJ administration of betamethasone phosphate were analyzed using population pharmacokinetic modeling. For IV administration of 0.04 mg/kg q24 h, IPC and IUC were 0.012 and 0.31 ng/mL, respectively; the IUC approximated the IFHA urine ISL (0.20 ng/mL).

Supercritical Fluid Chromatography for Expedited Sample Clean‐Up in Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry Including Cholesterol as New Endogenous Reference Compound

Supercritical fluid chromatography was employed in the sample preparation for IRMS determinations in sports drug testing for the first time and the developed method was successfully validated. Cholesterol (CHOL) was introduced as a novel endogenous reference compound and population‐based Δ‐values were established as shown here.
