Phase I Metabolism of Novel Phencyclidine Derivative 3‐Cl‐PCP: In Vitro Studies With Pooled Human Liver Microsomes and Investigation of a Post‐Mortem Case

A fatal 3‐chloro‐phencyclidine (3‐Cl‐PCP) intoxication was investigated by analyzing postmortem samples and a pooled human liver microsomes assay. Tentative metabolite identification was performed by liquid chromatography‐quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (LC‐QTOF‐MS). Seven phase I metabolites were identified.

This article investigates the metabolism and elimination of flmodafinil and fladrafinil, two fluorinated analogs of modafinil and adrafinil listed as S6 stimulants by the World Anti‐Doping Agency. In Vitro Metabolism of Δ8‐, Δ9‐, and Δ10‐THC in Human Hepatocytes: Distinct Δ10‐THC Biotransformation and Implications for Drug Testing

Δ8‐THC and Δ9‐THC showed comparable metabolic profiles. In contrast, Δ10‐THC underwent extensive glucuronidation and hydroxylation, with only minor formation of a carboxy metabolite, indicating a markedly different metabolic pathway. These differences may increase the risk of misidentification and misinterpretation in cannabis drug testing.

Investigations Into the Metabolism and Elimination of Tesofensine in Human Urine

This study investigated tesofensine metabolism and urinary elimination after a single 483 μg intake via a dietary supplement. In six volunteers, urine was collected up to 659 h. LC‐HRMS/MS identified four tentative metabolites; maximum urinary concentrations reached 4 ng/mL within 4–48 h.

Detection of Testosterone Esters in Urine: Evidence of Trace‐Level Detectability in Doping Control Samples

An ultrasensitive LC‐MS/MS method for detecting testosterone esters (T‐esters) in urine at sub–pg/mL levels is presented. This approach, employing Girard P derivatization, provides the first evidence of T‐esters' trace‐level detectability in human urine.
