Age‐Related Changes in Myeloid Cells and Their Impact on Subcutaneous Melanoma Growth in Mice
Our findings reveal that age‐related changes in subcutaneous melanoma growth and immunotherapy response are context‐dependent. In models where tumor growth and treatment resistance increase with age, this effect is partly driven by enhanced immunosuppression from myeloperoxidase‐active Gr‐1⁺ myeloid cells.

Impact of Forest Management on Species Richness: Global Meta-Analysis and Economic Trade-Offs
Forests managed for timber have an important role to play in conserving global biodiversity. We evaluated the most common timber production systems worldwide in terms of their impact on local species richness by conducting a categorical meta-analysis. We

ABSTRACT Objectives Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a non‐invasive brain stimulation strategy with a demonstrated potential to reinforce the residual pathways after a spinal cord injury (SCI). A preclinically tested high‐frequency (15 Hz) rTMS (15 Hz rTMS) protocol was shown to induce corticospinal tract axon regeneration growth ...

Pre‐Diagnostic Features of Multiple Sclerosis in a Diverse UK Cohort: A Nested Case–Control Study
ABSTRACT Background Many patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) experience nonspecific symptoms prior to diagnosis. This period—the 'MS prodrome'—has been described in socio‐economically homogeneous cohorts to date. It remains unclear to what extent events prior to an MS diagnosis differ according to social determinants of health. Methods We conducted a

ABSTRACT Background Poststroke fatigue (PSF) and frailty share substantial overlap in their manifestations, yet previous research has yielded conflicting results due to the use of heterogeneous frailty assessment tools. Objective To evaluate the independent impact of frailty on PSF using a unified measurement system (Tilburg Frailty Indicator, TFI ...

Which type of forest management provides most ecosystem services?
BackgroundForest ecosystems are increasingly seen as multi-functional production systems, which should provide, besides timber and economic benefits, also other ecosystem services related to biological diversity, recreational uses and environmental ...
