Abstract Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is an Andean grain crop introduced as a novel crop to many parts of the world in recent years. Recognized for nutritious seeds and high abiotic stress tolerance, it has been promoted as an element of climate‐resilient agriculture, particularly in marginal environments.

Annual survival and resource selection of juvenile male wild turkeys in central Tennessee
Juvenile male wild turkeys in central Tennessee, USA, selected areas with smaller patch sizes and lower proportions of developed land. Annual survival was 0.73 and decreased as dense land cover such as young and deciduous forest increased and cover types with high visibility decreased. The links between plantation expansion and deforestation in Borneo are debated. We used satellite imagery to map annual loss of old‐growth forests, expansion of industrial plantations (oil palm and pulpwood), and their overlap in Borneo from 2001 to 2017.
