Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Evaluation of drainage system of forest roads in Iran: Darabkola forest roads
It is necessary that forest roads be constructed according to standards considering the importance of forest roads in the forestry plans and sustainable management. The Standard Drainage system is one of the most important technical buildings in the forest road construction. Darabkola forests have been located in the central part of the northern margin

Traffic load of forest roads as a criterion for their categorization – GIS analysis
The categorisation of forest roads can be based on several different criteria. In this paper, the outlines of the primary forest traffic infrastructure were divided according to the traffic load typical of long-distance transportation of timber.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

The Effect of Roads on the Movement of Large and Mid-sized Mammals
Infrastructure development is one of the major threats to biodiversity in the forest. Roads are barriers which restrict the movement of animals. It is therefore urgent to explore characteristics of mammal life associated with forest road crossings ...

Forest roads as a special type of forest land
Forest roads are very important communication routes, ensuring the implementation of all functions of forests and forest management. According to the law, their status can be considered at least as specific. They are included in the category of forest land, but they are not public roads.
