Tree species diversity and forest productivity -

open access: yes, 2011
Scientists and policy makers have looked at Mediterranean forest biodiversity mainly from a conservation point of view. But biodiversity is increasingly considered an important aspect of ecosystem functioning. In this presentation, we review more specifically diversity-productivity relationships in forests.

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Portfolio management of mixed-species forests

open access: yes, 2012
We propose to test the portfolio selection theory on the historical data of tree species’ productivities obtained from the French National Forest Inventory (IFN). We determine the optimal timber productivity-vulnerability arrangements out of the combinations of tree species and map the optimal compositions per administrative department in France.

Poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) Nanoparticles for IL‐12 Self‐Amplifying RNA Delivery in Glioblastoma Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
xxxx. ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most lethal brain cancers, with median survival rarely exceeding 15 months after diagnosis. Interleukin‐12 (IL‐12) is a potent immunostimulatory cytokine capable of reshaping the tumor microenvironment (TME), yet its clinical translation is hindered by systemic toxicity and short half‐life. RNA‐based

Exceptionally low genomic diversity in the underutilised legume Kersting’s groundnut

open access: yesNature Communications
Identifying crops with novel and climate resilience traits is imperative to ensure food security. Without a basic understanding of the genomes and genomic diversity of these crops they will remain underutilised or could even become lost.
