Patterns and Driving Mechanisms of β‐Diversity in Mountain Plant Communities of Arid Regions
We analyzed taxonomic and phylogenetic β‐diversity patterns in plant communities along the northern slope of the central Kunlun Mountains in arid northwestern China. Species turnover dominated β‐diversity, with climatic distance—particularly temperature—being key drivers.

We analyzed changes in the suitable habitat of K.ceratoides, which is the main food source of Tibetan antelopes, within the Tibetan antelope breeding grounds in the Western Kunlun Mountains. The study covered the period from the Mid‐Holocene to future projections and also examined the driving factors and shifting directions of the suitable habitat ...

This study evaluates the future habitat dynamics of the Tibetan brown bear on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau under climate change by integrating predator–prey relationships and environmental variables using the MaxEnt model. Results show significant habitat contraction and shifting patterns, increasing the risk of human‐bear conflict.

Global populations of western mosquitofish G. affinis are more sensitive to climatic variation than eastern mosquitofish G. holbrooki in terms of length‐weight allometries. Under climate change, the populations of G. affinis, especially those in East Asia and Eastern Europe, are expected to grow faster in weight, posing greater threats to native ...
