Forecasting Impacts to the Forest Sector: An Analysis of Key U.S. States and Industries [PDF]
Several key states in various regions have experienced recent sawtimber as well as pulp and paper mill closures, which have resulted in harmful effects to rural, natural-resource dependent communities. This raises an important research question, how will key macroeconomic and related variables for the U.S.

A covalent adaptable network with dynamic disulfide bonds (DS‐CAN) can rearrange its molecular topology through heating or UV irradiation. When combined with ferromagnetic particles, its photoresponsiveness at room temperature enables contactless, spatiotemporal regulation of dynamic bond exchanges during magnetomechanical actuation.

Photocatalytic transfer hydrogenation is achieved over a multivalence‐state palladium photocatalyst, in which protons generated from photocatalytic water splitting are added to unsaturated double bonds. The operando light‐induced Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy confirms the synergistic action between Pd single atoms and nanoparticles,

Distribution of contaminants in the environment and wildlife habitat use: a case study with lead and waterfowl on the Upper Texas Coast [PDF]
The magnitude and distribution of lead contamination remain unknown in wetland systems. Anthropogenic deposition of lead may be contributing to negative population-level effects in waterfowl and other organisms that depend on dynamic wetland habitats ...
