Design, manufacturing and preliminary evaluation of a wheeltrimmer [PDF]
Control of weed is one of the most important problems in the botanic gardens, tree nurseries and plant research centers which generally are man made with high cost and time investment. In this investigation a wheel trimmer (brush cutter) was designed and

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Theory of Microwave Remote Sensing of Vegetation Effects, SoOp and Rough Soil Surface Backscattering
In this paper, we provide updates on our recent work on the theory of microwave remote sensing for applications in remote sensing of soil moisture and snow water equivalent (SWE). The three topics are the following.

On factorisation forests [PDF]
The theorem of factorisation forests shows the existence of nested factorisations -- a la Ramsey -- for finite words. This theorem has important applications in semigroup theory, and beyond.

Biodiversity recovery of Neotropical secondary forests
Tropical secondary forests recover quickly (decades) in tree species richness but slowly (centuries) in species composition. Old-growth tropical forests harbor an immense diversity of tree species but are rapidly being cleared, while secondary forests ...

Forest dynamics encompass changes in stand structure, species composition, and species interactions with disturbance and environment over a range of spatial and temporal scales. For convenience, spatial scale is defined as individual tree, neighborhood, stand, and landscape.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Identification of Poplar clones, using morphological markers [PDF]
Identification of Poplar clones is necessary, Particularly at early stage of growth, to demonstrate their similarity and diversity in selection process. Identification and selection of poplar clones was carried out using morphological attributes after a ...

Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.
