Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Fuzzy Based Image Forensic Tool for Detection and Classification of Image Cloning

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2016
With the easy availability of image processing and image editing tools, the cases of forgery have been raised in the last few years. Now days it is very difficult for a viewer and judicial authorities to verify authenticate a digital image.

Camera-based Image Forgery Localization using Convolutional Neural Networks

open access: yes, 2018
Camera fingerprints are precious tools for a number of image forensics tasks. A well-known example is the photo response non-uniformity (PRNU) noise pattern, a powerful device fingerprint.

Robust and Reversible Thermofluorescence in Solvent‐Free Thermoplastic Polyurethane Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Thermofluorescent polymer composites with high‐contrast optical outputs are prepared by solvent‐free blending of indenoquinacridone dye into a thermoplastic polyurethane matrix. The temperature‐dependent fluorescence originates from aggregation–dissociation of the dye molecules, regulated by competing hydrogen bonds from the polymer matrix.

BMNet: Enhancing Deepfake Detection Through BiLSTM and Multi-Head Self-Attention Mechanism

open access: yesIEEE Access
When forgery techniques can generate highly realistic videos, traditional convolutional neural network (CNN)-based detection models often struggle to capture subtle forgery features and temporal dependencies.

Artificial Intelligence as the Next Visionary in Liquid Crystal Research

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The functions of AI in the research laboratory are becoming increasingly sophisticated, allowing the entire process of hypothesis formulation, material design, synthesis, experimental design, and reiterative testing to be automated. In our work, we conceive how the incorporation of AI in the laboratory environment will transform the role and ...

Learning from Jesus’ Wife: What Does Forgery Have to Do with the Digital Humanities? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
McGrath’s chapter on the so-called Gospel of Jesus’ Wife sets aside as settled the question of the papyrus’ authenticity, and explores instead what we can learn about the Digital Humanities and scholarly interaction in a digital era from the way the ...

Halide‐Dependent Photoluminescence and Heavy‐Atom Effects in Low‐Melting Organic–Inorganic Manganese Halides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...
