Achelous: A Fast Unified Water-surface Panoptic Perception Framework based on Fusion of Monocular Camera and 4D mmWave Radar [PDF]
Current perception models for different tasks usually exist in modular forms on Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), which infer extremely slowly in parallel on edge devices, causing the asynchrony between perception results and USV position, and leading to error decisions of autonomous navigation. Compared with Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), the robust

Aging and the perception of texture-defined form
In this study 28 younger and older observers discriminated the global shapes of objects that were defined by differences in texture. The judged stimulus patterns were 3-point micropattern textures. On any given trial, a texture-defined shape (either a vertically- or horizontally-oriented rectangle) was presented; the observers' task was to discriminate

Text-mining forma mentis networks reconstruct public perception of the STEM gender gap in social media [PDF]
Mindset reconstruction maps how individuals structure and perceive knowledge, a map unfolded here by investigating language and its cognitive reflection in the human mind, i.e. the mental lexicon.
