Validating directed graphs by applying formal concept analysis to conceptual graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Although tools exist to aid practitioners in the construction of directed graphs typified by Conceptual Graphs (CGs), it is still quite possible for them to draw the wrong model, mistakenly or otherwise. In larger or more complex CGs it is furthermore

Contrast‐Enhanced MR Fingerprinting With Delta‐Relaxometry: Investigating a New Avenue for Tumor Characterization

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 63, Issue 4, Page 1042-1052, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background MRI contrast agents enhance lesion characterization by altering tissue relaxation properties. However, quantitative assessment of contrast enhancement is limited by variability in contrast administration parameters, and lack of efficient and precise contrast concentration independent relaxivity (r 1, r 2) measurement techniques.

Concept discovery innovations in law enforcement: a perspective. [PDF]

open access: yes
In the past decades, the amount of information available to law enforcement agencies has increased significantly. Most of this information is in textual form, however analyses have mainly focused on the structured data. In this paper, we give an overview

Industrial Relations, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Labour Demand Composition and Local Labour Market Concentration

open access: yesOxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Volume 88, Issue 2, Page 291-330, April 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of local labour market concentration on wage and non‐wage attributes, leveraging demand‐side panel data. The analysis replicates the standard findings on wage and hiring elasticity, potentially revealing an additional layer‐abstention from collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) could lead to a double ...

Using formal concept analysis for the verification of process-data matrices in conceptual domain models. [PDF]

open access: yes
One of the first steps in a software engineering process is the elaboration of the conceptual domain model. In this paper, we investigate how Formal Concept Analysis can be used to formally underpin the construction of a conceptual domain model.

Attribute Implication Bases From Galois Connection Structures

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 4, Page 2729-2753, 15 March 2026.
ABSTRACT Modeling knowledge systems by determining relationships among key variables have been and currently is a fundamental and nontrivial challenge in real‐world scenarios. Many approaches have been developed to reach this goal, but many of them are heuristic and require of alternative procedures to provide robust and tractable rules.

Extracellular Vesicles From Mesenchymal Stromal Cells Drive Muscle and Neuronal Regeneration Through TNFα Modulation

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
Workflow of the work. (1) Human muscle biopsies were collected, and the human muscle precursor cells (hMPC) were isolated, followed by co‐culture with human monocytes (THP‐1). In parallel, human muscles were decellularised to obtain an extracellular matrix (ECM) free of cells. ECM were recellularised by injecting hMPC and THP1 into the matrix.

Formally analysing the concepts of domestic violence. [PDF]

open access: yes
The types of police inquiries performed these days are incredibly diverse. Often data processing architectures are not suited to cope with this diversity since most of the case data is still stored as unstructured text.

Liberalism as a Way of Political Life: The Case of George Brandis

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Politics &History, Volume 72, Issue 1, Page 123-142, March 2026.
The lawyer, politician, and diplomat George Brandis was the leading intellectual representative of moderate or “small‐l” liberalism in the contemporary Liberal Party. He criticised John Howard for an ad hoc balancing of liberalism and conservatism. Brandis believed the Liberal Party necessarily included conservatives, but to him their role was to be a ...
