To investigate the effects of different processing methods of Sojae Semen Praeparartum (SSP) on constipation, we prepared SSP through fermentation using Rhizopus chinensis and Bacillus sp. DU‐106 as starter cultures, and examined its laxative effects and mechanisms in loperamide‐induced constipated Sprague‐Dawley (SD) rats.

Space‐Time Modeling and Numerical Simulations of Non‐Newtonian Fluids Using Internal Variables

Based on Hamilton's principle, the study focuses on a novel strategy for the modeling of non‐Newtonian fluids with the help of internal variables. Here, the viscosity evolves locally in space and time. Three configurations are numerically implemented, namely channel flow, a benchmark, and a lid‐driven cavity.

Shock‐Triggered Asymmetric Response Stochastic Volatility

ABSTRACT We propose a novel asymmetric stochastic volatility model (STAR‐SV) in which the leverage parameter adjusts to the magnitude of past shocks. This flexible specification captures both the leverage effects and their propagation more effectively than standard asymmetric volatility models.
