PDAC has a poor prognosis due to chemoresistance. We revealed that MCU upregulation is associated with chemoresistance and stemness in PDAC. MCU‐mediated Ca2+ influx induced ER stress, activating the PERK‐ATF4/NRF2 axis to enhance PSAT1/SLC711 expression and glutathione synthesis, reducing ROS and maintaining stemness.

TEI, Ontologies, Linked Open Data: Geolat and Beyond
This paper presents the rationales and the logical architecture of Geolat — Geography for Latin Literature, a project for the enrichment of Latin literature which makes use of a complex mix of TEI markup, Semantic Web technologies and formal ontologies ...

A platform for semantic web studies [PDF]
The Semantic Web can be seen as a large, heterogeneous network of ontologies and semantic documents. Characterizing these ontologies, the way they relate and the way they are organized can help in better understanding how knowledge is produced and ...

TRPA1+αCGRP+ sensory neurons in the nodose ganglion detect external insults such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interact directly with pulmonary neuroendocrine cells (PNECs), promoting their activation and proliferation. This neural‐epithelial interaction amplifies lung inflammation.

Dependence relationships between Gene Ontology terms based on TIGR gene product annotations [PDF]
The Gene Ontology is an important tool for the representation and processing of information about gene products and functions. It provides controlled vocabularies for the designations of cellular components, molecular functions, and biological processes ...

This study suggests that prenatal aspirin exposure is associated with reduced ovarian reserve in offspring, associated with HDAC1‐linked epigenetic downregulation of Usp9x as a candidate mechanism. These preclinical findings provide new insights into fetal‐origin ovarian disorders and contribute to the evidence base concerning aspirin's gestational ...

Exploiting conceptual spaces for ontology integration [PDF]
The widespread use of ontologies raises the need to integrate distinct conceptualisations. Whereas the symbolic approach of established representation standards – based on first-order logic (FOL) and syllogistic reasoning – does not implicitly represent ...

Ribosome Homeostasis Regulated by SETD2 Preserves Intestinal Epithelial Barrier
SETD2 ablation causes dysregulation and recruitment defects of ribosome biogenesis factors, resulting in translational disorders of barrier maintenance genes, thereby compromising the intestinal barrier. These findings unveil a previously unappreciated role of ribosome biogenesis and translational regulation in preserving the intestinal epithelial ...

Referent tracking for corporate memories [PDF]
For corporate memory and enterprise ontology systems to be maximally useful, they must be freed from certain barriers placed around them by traditional knowledge management paradigms. This means, above all, that they must mirror
