A literature-based approach to annotation and browsing of Web resources

open access: yesInformation Research: An International Electronic Journal, 2003
The emerging Semantic Web technologies critically depend on the availability of shared knowledge representations called ontologies, which are intended to encode consensual knowledge about specific domains.

Inhibition of SLC11A1‐Mediated Lysosomal Iron Accumulation in Microglia Promotes Repair Following White Matter Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genetic and pharmacological inhibition of SLC11A1 functioning as an H+/Fe2+ antiporter–mediated lysosomal iron accumulation in microglia promotes lysosomal lumen acidification, increases CTSD expression, enhances lysosomal myelin debris uptake and degradation, and promotes repair following white matter stroke. ABSTRACT White matter stroke (WMS) results

Logic and formal ontology

open access: yes, 1989
Logic for Husserl is a science of science, a science of what all sciences have in common in their modes of validation. Thus logic deals with universal laws relating to truth, to deduction, to verification and falsification, and with laws relating to theory as such, and to what makes for theoretical unity, both on the side of the propositions of a ...

Hepatocyte Mettl3 Deficiency Drives Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and Liver Fibrosis via Cholangiocyte‐Macrophage Crosstalk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration demonstrating that hepatic Mettl3 depletion significantly elevates the secretion of Mif and Csf1. This elevation facilitates Trem2+ macrophage infiltration and triggers cholangiocyte remodeling through the Spp1‐Cd44 interaction, resulting in spontaneous PSC development in vivo.

Object Ontologies as a Priori Models for Logical-Probabilistic Machine Learning

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика"
Logical-probabilistic machine learning (LPML) is an AI method able to explicitly work with a priori knowledge represented in data models. This feature significantly complements traditional deep learning knowledge acquiring.

Engineering Adaptive Immunity in 3D: A Patient‐Specific Lymphoid Model Using Stromal Networks and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a 3D lymphoid tissue model engineered from adipose‐derived stem cells differentiated into fibroblastic reticular cell–like networks and co‐cultured with immune cells. The engineered system successfully generates antigen‐specific antibodies and cytokine responses, providing a platform for studying adaptive immunity, vaccine efficacy,

WDR5‐H3K4me3 Epigenetic Axis Promotes TRMT6‐Dependent tRNA M1A Modification to Facilitate Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Progression by Suppressing Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Upregulated TRMT6 forms aberrant hypermethylation of a specific tRNA pool and serves as a predictor of poor prognosis in TNBC. This m1A modification in tRNAs enhances translation of FTH1 and FTL, reducing the pool of bioavailable Fe2⁺. Reduced Fe2+ availability impairs RSL3‐induced lipid peroxidation and tumor progression.

MGM as a Large‐Scale Pretrained Foundation Model for Microbiome Analyses in Diverse Contexts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present the Microbial General Model (MGM), a transformer‐based foundation model pretrained on over 260,000 microbiome samples. MGM learns contextualized microbial representations via self‐supervised language modeling, enabling robust transfer learning, cross‐regional generalization, keystone taxa discovery, and prompt‐guided generation of realistic,
