Origami‐Mediated Low‐Voltage Electret Soft Robotic Actuators for Human‐Machine Haptic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces an origami‐mediated soft electret actuator that combines compliant mechanical design and enhanced charge retention for low‐voltage vibrotactile feedback. The device delivers reliable tactile cues, demonstrates durable performance under continuous actuation, and enables intuitive interaction in applications such as tactile ...

Rings of formal power series defined by the growth of coefficients

open access: yes, 2000
Given a sequence $M=\{M_n\}_{n\in\bkN}$ of real positive numberslogarithmically convex, we study subrings $\Gamma_M$ of the ringof formal power series in $s$ variables whose coefficientssatisfy growth conditions with respect to $M.$ Under very few restrictiveconditions on $M,$ we get in these rings composition theorems. We study the following problem ...

Tailored Synthesis of Doped Non‐Layered Oxide Nanosheets Using Designed Solid‐State Surfactants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reports a solid‐state surfactant templating method that enables precise doping of non‐layered oxide nanosheets. Using ceria and rare‐earth elements as model systems, we established design principles for solid‐state surfactants containing multiple elements.

Aptamer‐Targeted PrPC Drives Colorectal Cancer Metastasis via a LYN‐STAT3 Complex and Enables Liquid Biopsy Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The aptamer WHY‐3E identifies PrPC as a CRC driver. Stabilized by USP18, endocytosed PrPC forms a LYN/STAT3 complex, upregulating MSN transcription to promote metastasis. Crucially, WHY‐3E sensitively detects PrPC‐positive circulating exosomes, establishing a robust theoretical foundation for non‐invasive clinical diagnostics.

TRIM: Simultaneous Thermometry, Ranging, and Imaging via a Monolithic Metalens

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While metasurfaces offer a pathway beyond the discrete architectures of conventional LWIR systems, physically fusing high‐precision thermometry and passive ranging onto a single metalens remains a formidable challenge. Here, we demonstrate a monolithic, dual‐focus metalens capable of simultaneous multidimensional sensing.

Stretchable Microelectrode Arrays with Microneedles for Reliable Electrophysiological Recording of Human Heart and Brain Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A stretchable 3D microelectrode array with microneedles (3D MN‐sMEA) enables stable, minimally destructive electrophysiological monitoring of 3D organoids. The wafer‐level stud‐bump bonding process facilitates high‐fidelity recordings of heart and cerebral organoids.
