Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.

Incorporating left-hand cuts into finite-volume scattering formalism [PDF]

open access: yes
Obtaining rigorous predictions from Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), the theory of the strong interaction, is crucial for understanding hadronic and nuclear physics at a fundamental level and for the search for physics beyond the Standard Model. However,

European Formalism and Empiriocriticism : Formalism within the International Empiriocritical Movement

open access: yes, 2020
International audienceThis paper argues that Russian Formalism is to be considered a constitutive part of the international empiriocritical movement—Ernst Mach (1838—1916) and Richard Avenarius’s (1843—1896).

Philosophy of mathematics: Intuitionism and formalism

open access: yes, 1913
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the intuitionism and formalism. In Kant, one find an old form of intuitionism almost completely abandoned in which time and space are taken to be the forms of conception inherent in human reason.

When Poor Exciton Dissociation Limits Photocurrents in Organic Solar Cells: Why Low Offset Non‐Fullerene Acceptor Blends Can't Be Efficient

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

El historiador y la Novela: De la complicidad mimética a la mediación textual.

open access: yesHistoria Crítica, 2004
The article suggests the need for a shift in the historian's traditional outlook on literature, according to which the latter is a provider of «useful knowledge and information.» This point of view is based on the conception of the literary work—the ...

INTERNATIONAL RULE OF LAW IN A DISCOURSE OF DOUBTS [PDF]

open access: yesLex Portus, 2016
The international rule of law - one of the most influential theoretical ideas of contemporary international legal scholarship At the same time, it exists in a ceaseless discourse of doubts and defenses.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Switchable Magnonic Crystals Based on Spin Crossover/CrSBr Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale modeling is employed to investigate the functionality of a light‐controlled, tunable magnonic crystal based on spin‐crossover Fe‐pz molecules integrated with a monolayer of CrSBr. Ab initio simulations confirm that the molecules remain functional on the CrSBr surface, while a semiclassical elastic model demonstrates that light‐induced ...

Introducing Formalism in Economics: The Growth Model of John von Neumann [PDF]

open access: yes
The objective is to interpret John von Neumann's growth model as a decisive step of the forthcoming formalist revolution of the 1950s in economics.
