A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

UAV formation flight control method based on DQN
Currently, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) formation flight control still relies on model-based information, and the level of UAV intelligent control is relatively low. To address this issue, a deep reinforcement learning approach is investigated. Firstly,

Summary of the effects of engine throttle response on airplane formation-flying qualities [PDF]
A flight evaluation was conducted to determine the effect of engine throttle response characteristics on precision formation-flying qualities. A variable electronic throttle control system was developed and flight-tested on a TF-104G airplane with a J79 ...

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

A combined finite element and phase‐field approach predicts the evolution of microstructure during the directional solidification of Ni‐based superalloys. The model reveals how withdrawal rate, temperature gradient, and wall thickness control the dendrite spacing, highlighting the strong effect of surface regions in thin sections where dendrite growth ...

Relative State Transition Matrix Using Geometric Approach for Onboard Implementation
In the present study relative state transition matrix was obtained. It matches the relative motion of 2 satellites while including the oblate perturbation. The used formulation applies the geometric approach and is in Cartesian frame.

Formation flying linear modelling
Paper given at Dynamics and Control of Systems and Structures in Space (DCSSS), 5th conference, Kings College, Cambridge, July 2002 An extension of the Hill-Clohessey-Wiltshire equations is presented. The equations refer to the relative motion of two satellites as seen by a Chief undergoing a circular Keplerian motion. Both the Earth oblateness and the

ZnS‐MXene‐TiO2 nanocomposite heterojunction for photocatalytic decomposition of this methylene blue dye (MB) greatly improves light absorption, charge separation, and active site area. Two‐dimensional MXene forms nanocomposites by easily combining them with 0D (quantum dots), 1D (tube and wire), 2D (plane and sheet), and 3D (particle and lamellar ...
