Mitochondrial DNA Part A, 2015
The complete mitochondrial genome of Formica selysi has been assembled from Illumina sequencing data with an average coverage of 2733X. The circular genome was 16,752 bp in length, and consists of 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNAs (tRNAs), two ribosomal RNAs (rRNAs) and one D-loop region. All PCGs initiated with ATN codons and terminated

Thearachne-group ofPolyrhachis (Formicidae, Formicinae): Weaver ants cultivating Homoptera on Bamboo
Insectes Sociaux, 1990The biology of two species ofPolyrhachis which together form thearachne species-group is described. BothPolyrhachis arachne Emery 1896 andPolyrhachis hodgsoni Forel 1902 are confined to broad-leaved species of bamboo, but there is no ant-plant mutualism. They collect Homoptera on bamboo plants and cultivate them in leaf pavilions.

Zootaxa, 2013
The Indo-Chinese species of the genus Myrmoteras are revised. We recognise one species in the subgenus Myagroteras and six species in the subgenus Mynnoteras from Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand. Five new species are described based on the worker caste: M. concolor, M. jaitrongi, M. namphuong, M. opalinumn, and M. tonimasai, all belonging to the subgenus

The Science of Nature
Coastal dunes are unique habitats, threatened by human activities. In biogeographical terms, coastal dunes are habitat islands, being discrete and distinct patches of similar habitat among themselves, separated from each other by a different type of habitat.
