STRATIFIED SEQUENCES OF NESTED QUADRATURE FORMULAS
Quaestiones Mathematicae, 1992Abstract Adaptive quadrature algorithms have the property that their behaviour is tailored to the integrand. Such algorithms may be adaptive in two ways. Order adaptive: A nested sequence of quadrature rules, each more accurate than its predecessor, is applied.

On supplementary formulas for Sheffer sequences
Aequationes mathematicae, 2015The paper contains four theorems. In the first one, the author presents necessary and sufficient conditions for the Sheffer sequence to satisfy the supplementary formula. In the last three ones, characterizations of Bernoulli, Euler and poly-Bernoulli polynomials are given.
